教学重点:掌握动词短语的ing形式,会拼写doing, reading, dancing, singing, playing
教学难点:在具体的语境中,运用“What are your hobbies? I like doing ____.”进行对话。

教学过程:
Step 1 Leading-in (导入)
1. Sing the English song in Unit 4. My new pen pal
2. Oral English
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you! Let’s talk about our hobbies. Do you remember what are Peter’s hobbies?
S: He likes reading stories. He likes doing kung fu. He likes singing. 将Peter 的兴趣爱好写在老师之前发的表格里面。
T: Yes. How about you? What are your hobbies?
S:…
设计意图: 通过口语交际, 询问Peter以及同学们的兴趣爱好, 可以帮助同学们复习上一节课的对话,还可以为本堂课积累丰富的词语,帮助同学们完成本堂课的教学内容。
Step 2 Presentation (新课呈现)
1. Learn the new words
(1) Show a picture. 出示一张图片,猜一猜他是谁?(Mr. Wang)He is our principal. Can you guess what are his hobbies?给学生三个提示:He is in our school. He is kind and funny. He is our principal. 当学生猜到时及时出示新单词词组reading stories. (如果学生没有猜出来,教师可以适时提醒。)拿出单词卡片,教授新单词。学习read的形态变化,直接在后面加上ing, 板书变化的过程。
(2)播放一段音频,再请同学们猜一猜他又是谁。(Mr. Xiao)再问:What are his hobbies? He likes singing. 学习新单词singing, 了解它的变化规则。
(3)学习短语playing football 和doing kung fu。这两个短语较简单,所以可以让学生在对话的过程中自己感知理解记忆。
(4) 出示最后一张图片。(Li Bin)学习单词 dancing. 通过板书和课件演示让同学们知道dance 变成dancing 要去掉e再加ing。
设计意图:由身边最熟悉的人引入新单词的教学,可以大大提高学生的注意力和学习的兴趣, 也能让他们对单词的掌握更加牢固。同时通过不同的方式让他们理解单词ing形式的不同变化,比直接告诉他们变化规则更好。
2. Practice(练习)
(1)Write and say
写出下列单词的ing形式
do--- dance---
play--- make---
sing--- take---
read--- have---
教师再补充一些符合这个规则的单词,给学生提供更多的机会来感知动词的词尾变化。例词如下:make, take, have, give
(2)听录音,完成表格的另外一部分,写出张鹏的兴趣爱好。总结张鹏和Peter的共同爱好,进行对比发现他们的兴趣爱好完全一样,提示学生找朋友要志趣相投。告诉他们一句谚语:We sang the same songs. 我们志同道合。
设计意图:本环节有听力的练习,培养了学生听的能力,内容和上一节课相呼应,同时插入了情感教育,找朋友要找志趣相投的朋友。
3. Do a survey. Interview your classmates in your group and then give a report. You can also ask the teachers in our classroom.
完成书上的表格,然后请几名同学上来做汇报。
设计意图:通过调查身边的朋友,同学们不仅练习了如何询问对方的兴趣爱好,而且加深了对朋友的了解,这是英语学习的一个很好的过程。
