【摘要】英语任务型阅读是“阅读理解”题的另外一种方式,它要求学生在阅读的基础上,去完成多项任务或问题,它考查的是学生实际运用语言的综合能力,该题型很符合目前英语教学改革的方向。

任务型阅读是从2004年开始在陕西省中考英语试题中新增加的题型,它是考查学生语言实际运用能力的一种题型,是“阅读理解”题的另外一种方式,它要求学生在阅读的基础上,去完成多项任务或问题,该题型很符合目前英语教学改革的方向。
但是自陕西省2004年中考英语出现“任务型阅读”新题型以来,我们发现学生在完成此类题目时存在以下问题:1.学生对此题型不熟悉,不能很好地利用原文信息正确地完成题后所给的任务。 2.学生在完成此类题目时缺乏答题技巧,虽然理解了原文却不能写出语法正确,符合题意的答案(如:时态不符合题目要求,句型结构错误,词形变化错误等等),失分较多。
因此,加强学生对此类题目的了解和熟悉,使他们掌握必备的题型常识,可使学生形成技巧,提高得分率,所以现将英语任务型阅读常见题型及其解题策略归纳如下:
一 . 英语任务型阅读常见题型及其解题策略
任务型阅读的设题形式非常丰富,主要有根据短文内容设置填空、填表格、完成句子、回答问题、英汉互译、句型转化等题型。下面是任务型阅读的题型及其解题策略--------
(1)回答问题型及解题策略
此类阅读题目的问题多为特殊疑问句。问题的内容小到一个词的词义,大到概述故事的大意;可以提问一件事,也可以推断作者的意图,评价作品的内容;问题可以是单一问题,也可以是综合问题或发挥性问题。做这类题型需把握一些细节事实。如:who ,when ,which, where, what 等。建议先看题目,通过题目理解文章大意,然后再看短文,有目的地突破细节。
[解题示例] Your senses are always at work. Your eyes let you read a book. Your nose brings the smell of dinner cooking. Your hand feels the softness as you touch a cat. Your ears tell you that a storm is coming.
Your senses also help keep you from harm. They warn you if you touch something that will burn you. They keep you from looking at a light that is too bright, and they tell you if a car is coming up behind you. Each of your senses collects information and sends it as a message to your brain. The brain is like the control center for your body. It sorts out(整理好)the messages sent by your senses and acts on them.

(2)填写表格型及解题策略
填表式任务型阅读要求阅读所给的材料并根据材料所给的信息填补表格或短文中空缺的信息。填写时重在大意,并不一定用短文中的原词。对于填表式阅读理解,关键在于分析图表中已经存在的信息,然后根据给出的信息点寻找对应的信息。一般解题步骤为“研表-----读文----填表”: 1)研表:迅速阅读表格,预测所缺单词。通过分析表格的项目内容和结构特征,从而揣测命题的目的和意图,准确把握信息范围及对文章的理解方向。要特别关注文章的标题栏及表格前的小标题,这样有助于理解短文的大意。2)读文:快速浏览全文.把握短文大意,再读文章内容.找准细节定位。任务型阅读要求考生解读语篇,掌握文章的框架结构和段落大意,又要求考生对具体的事实细节进行查找和定位、理解和转换。因此,在阅读文章时,考生应适时恰当地运用多种阅读技巧,对文章进行全面的理解。3)填表:抓住有效信息,准确填好表格。任务型阅读考查学生通过快速阅读捕捉信息的能力,又要求对文中信息进行理解转换,并进行适当的逻辑推理和归纳总结,在填表时.力争返回原文,找出与题目有关的内容,抓住关键词汇,填好所缺单词。填好表格后,再次校对所填单词拼写是否正确.是否符合文章内容。

(3)综合任务型及其解题策略
一般是给出一篇短文,然后根据所给短文的内容给出不同要求的阅读任务,要求学生通过阅读短文来完成这些任务,从而考查学生的语言综合运用能力。做这类题一定不能把所给的阅读任务从短文中割裂开来单独对待。一定要联系上下文,从上下文的关系中去联想或推测才能得到准确含义。此类题目一般形式多样,从各方面考虑学生的语言运用能力。
【解题示例】 Bollywood: the Hollywood of India
You might be surprised to learn that India produces about 800 movies a year, and that number continues to grow. Just as the movie Capital of the United States is Hollywood, the movie capital of India is Bombay (孟买), but it is usually called "Bollywood", a combination(结合) of the words Bombay and Hollywood.
No Bollywood movie is thought complete without a few songs and dances. In fact, music is an important part of Bollywood movies. Even a bad movie can still do well if the music is good. Music directors are sometimes more popular than the film stars. A Bollywood movie has five to six songs with at least three songs to show what the dances mean.
Bollywood may be different from Hollywood in music, but it is very like Hollywood in several ways. If Tom Cruise can hold a gun, so can the Bollywood hero Sharukh Khan. 二、任务型阅读解题技巧
虽然任务型阅读的设题形式非常丰富,有根据短文内容设置填空、填表格、完成句子、回答问题、英汉互译、句型转化等题型,但是不管以哪种形式设题,任务型阅读的解题技巧是一样的,现归纳如下:
(1)仔细阅读全文,圈点有效信息。阅读原文,概括文章大意,理出要点:一方面,抓住关键词语,快速捕捉,对文章中提供的与答题有关的信息在文中进行圈点定位,尤其注重名称、数字和年代,同时划出与所填内容相关的其它信息,圈出关键词组和句子,便于复查时节省时间。另一方面,根据文章中所提供的细节信息,抓住关键词语,返回原文,快速捕捉,对文章中提供的与答题有关的信息在文中进行定位,并通过对比新旧语境,圈出不同点。
(2)巧妙运用词形和句型的转换。对于那些不能在原文中直接选定的答案,根据表格中对原文语义的转换,掌握设空规律,进行词形和词性的转换。巧用同义词、反义词、词语搭配等转换方式,以便提高答题正确率。
(3)掌握归纳技巧,巧用关联词。有时表格中的最上栏或最左栏需要学生概括相应栏内的内容,常用的概括性词语有:原因(reason/cause)、方法(way/means)、优缺点(advantage/disadvantage)、观点(opinion/view)、建议(advice/tip/suggestions)、目的(aim/purpose)、问题(problem)、影响和结果(effect/result)、个人信息(name/age/occupation/personality)等。掌握这些概括性词语,可以帮助学生迅速准确地完成答题任务。
(4)注意答题细节,看清题目要求。多数学生在这里因考虑不全面而出错,因此在答题时要注重以下几点:(1)名词:留意可不可数及单复数(2)动词:留意是谓语动词还是非谓语的用法,谓语动词要注意时态和语态以及第三人称;非谓语动词要注意在句中所做成分和动作发生的先后以及和逻辑主语的关系(主动还是被动)。(3)形容词和副词:注意比较级和最高级的变化。(4)连词:注意词语与词语,句子与句子之间的逻辑关系。
(5)通读全文,仔细复查。在完成所有任务后,同学们还应结合题目再把全文通读一遍,认真核实答案,同时还应检查一下书写的规范性及句子的人称、单复数、时态、语态、词性、主谓搭配等,这是答题的最后一步,同样也很关键。因此,同学们平时应养成做完题后仔细检查的好习惯。
总之,任务型阅读不同于传统的阅读理解,它不仅要求学生有良好的阅读理解能力,还要求学生对词汇语法有全面的把握,所以在这道题型上要拿到高分是不轻易的,这就要求学生在平时学习过程中夯实基础,加强常用词汇的积累,培养自己的创新思维,并养成细心答题的好习惯。
